Updating the jumpSTART credentials will be required if the provided credentials have expired or changed. This guide will walk you through making those updates.
Update Process
- First things first, if you have multiple agent configurations running, please note you will only want to update the agent in question. Most of the time, it will be the primary agent.
- Assuming you are updating the primary agent, you will want to look for this icon on your desktop:
- If you cannot find the icon, or it has been deleted from the desktop, you can find the application in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Healthjump\JumpAgent\
If you are restarting agent 2, then the folder will be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Healthjump\JumpAgent\JumpAgent2\ - Once you have open the jumpSTART GUI, you will want to enter your new credentials into the SQL Username and SQL Password Fields.
- Now you're ready to test! Hit the Test Connection button. You will be prompted by 2 messages.
- First one to validate the change has been saved.
- The next one will indicate if the updated credentials have worked.

- If the connection fails, check the credentials you entered and update again.
- Once you have successfully made the update, the last step is to restart the service.
- Open services.mcs and scroll down to jumpAgent. Hit <restart serivice> . If you are updating jumpAgent 2, then restart that service. For more details on restarting the agent, click here.
